Here they are, a set of specialised upgrade parts for DZP MK-III that allows you to use half length darts with Straight and Angled Talon magazines. Both Talon adapters improve form and usability of the MK-III, while retaining backward compatibility with full length darts and magazines.
The MechaROF+, truncated from the term "Mechanical Rate of Fire +", doubles the rate of fire purely by mechanical means, without electrical modifications. Additionally, it ensures minimal changes to gearbox wear as compared to increased rpms from pusher motor upgrades.
Straight Talon Adapter Features:
- Flared magwell entry
- Extended mag release connected to main mag release
- Compatible with original DZP MK-III pusher internals
Angled Talon Adapter Features:
- Flared magwell entry
- Linear mag release
- Mag release linked to main mag release
- Compatible with original DZP MK-III pusher internals
Slip-On
- Extend the MechaROF+ pusher when installed in the Talon Adapters to use with half length darts
MechaROF+ Features:
- Semi-auto: 30% Shorter trigger pull stroke (unchanged for full auto)
- Full-auto: Double the rate of fire mechanically with zero electrical modifications
- Full-auto: Keeping the internal gears at the original rated speeds means less stresses on gear teeth as compared to pusher motor upgrades
- Backward compatible with full length darts and magazines
- For half-length darts, only compatible with the above specialised Talon Adapters
- Not compatible with all other centrally positioned Talon/Katana/Adventure Force half-length adapters, including what came with the MK-III
- For extreme modders, combine MechaROF+ and upgraded pusher motors at your own risk. Ensure proper lubrication of all moving contact surfaces. MechaROF+ is printed in PETG and should be thermally stable at higher rpms. (Feel free to contact me on improving these parts, in exchange for your photos of weak points during these extreme tests)
